在我看来,中意一篇文本不外乎两种缘故:一是因为文本本身的魅力,二是出于对作者的仰慕。而于文天祥,无疑是两者兼而有之。

了解文天祥其人,实际早于他的诗文,并一度惊奇于在暗弱的南宋,曾有过那样1个铁骨铮铮的文人。历史总是有那样那样的误会。

假如文天祥日常在1个太平盛世,他或许会成为一代名臣,即便归隐耕作,也有可能成为1个名声更大的诗人。可他偏偏生逢乱世,国破人亡,历史让他担负了注定要失败的责任。

当元军的铁骑南下,国家危在旦夕时,他变卖家财,毁家纾难;在宋朝风雨飘零之际,他率军转战四方,为何不如人愿。而最为人所折服的,是在被捕之后,面对威逼利诱,仍能坚守节操,毫不屈服。与众多降元尤甚转而为元灭宋的南宋官员相比,更加让人感佩。 他的追求处于他的正气,1个能坚持自我信念与理想并为之付出生命的人,无疑是一盏明灯,照彻了昏暗历史的一角。千百年之后,仍然能振奋人心。

文天祥在诗文中提过骂贼而死的颜杲卿,可见1个有正气榜样的力量。而自宋以降,没有不了解文天祥,还有张苍水,跟文天祥一样。正是他们,塑造了国内人的脊梁。其人之行,功莫大焉。

文天祥的风骨与信念,于其诗文中可见正气。《正气歌》写于他被元军羁押狱中三年之后,而于其中,我们仍能看到他的不屈服。在序中他描述了狱中日常环境的恶劣,而胸中自有正气。而后列数贤人,以明心迹,“时穷节乃见,一一垂丹青。”正是他的真的写照。

譬如莲生淤泥中,取莲华而勿观于淤泥。不必看那卑微,那软弱,那屈服,那残忍,只需看这黯淡却永久的灯火,而心向,落实到行动,便足够了。 于今之世,我们虽不必如文天祥通常以生命来坚持,但是,存养胸中一段正气,塑造自我的信念,不正是我们所需要的吗?

钱逊在大学生思想教育中说过:“一部四千年国内史,正是一部浩气长存,正气磅礴的国内史,不断有正气人物、正气故事。故使国内屡仆屡起,屹然常在。”中国民族有这么一种正气支撑着整个民族的发展。即使中国民族历程了好多的曲折和苦难,但是民族正气最后能够战胜困难,发展壮大”在历史上,不断有正气的故事、正气的人物呈现。我想举文天祥的例子来说明。文天祥在历史上代表着我们的爱国传统和民族主义精神。他坚持抗元,坚贞不屈,最后英勇就义。他写的《正气歌》很好的体现了他当初为什么要那样做,也能很好的帮助我们理解民族精神。

我们怎么样才能持于那样的品格呢?也是我们不应该去计较个人物品日常是怎么样的美好,而是要贴合个人的理想,对得起自我的良知,持于独立的高尚的人格。像齐国的史官,他秉笔直书,不为了权势而放弃自我,把道德和人格看得比生命还紧要。所谓“杀身成仁,舍生取义”,也是说“所欲有甚于生者,所恶有甚于死者”,精神生命的价值高于物品生命,物品生命并不是最高的价值。实际上,古今中外一切先进人物,也是把精神生命、理想追求放在第1位;假如所有的人都把物品生命放在第1位,我们人类不可能有今天的发展。这一点,把精神的追求,人格理想的追求,放在第1位,是中国民族1个凸出的精神,是我们爱国主义的根源所在。

文天祥死后在自我的腰带上写下:“孔曰成仁,孟曰取义,惟其义尽,因此仁至。读圣贤书,所学何事?而今而后,庶几无愧。”这反映了他的思想。他所有这些从哪里来呢?也是从先贤传统中得到,另一要素也是从孔孟传统文化中得来的。“惟其义尽,因此仁至”,他一辈子都在追求这一点。孟子讲浩然之气是“集义所生”,也是要不断积累,才能到达浩然之气。文天祥也是那样做的。这说明民族精神的根源也是我们的传统文化。
